Engine 1

Engine 1 was one of the original companies of the paid dept. The company was located in rented space on Park Ave up to around 1888. After this a new station was built near Oneida square also on Park Ave which housed Engine 1.  Above is Engine 1's 1967 Seagrave. Below is Engine 1's 1913 Seagrave hose and chemical car. This was the first motor driven engine in the city.
